About Secret Life of Plants

Please read the guidelines:

we look for UNIQUE insights into plants.

What we do NOT look for:

*landscapes (nothing secret about those)
*just another pretty rose (nothing unique about that)
*just another macro or other image, just like the one before it in the pool (see above)
*insects on flowers (see above, plus this is not an entomology group)

if your photo is removed from the pool, please do not add it again.

These are images that reveal something not obviously noticed about a plant (any type of flora). Macros often reveal those secrets but careful attention to plant development from bud to seed are also revealing. This is not a group simply for natural macros, many of which show what we know well - the stamens of common flowers etc...

Post what you've discovered while looking closely at the flora you shoot. Also, please take a look at the pool every now and then and try to avoid posting the same image from the same perspective, i.e. dandelions or orchids.

Please note that by "discovering," we mean what you see before or while looking through a lens-- not what you can create with an image processing program.
