Please annotate the pictures with the Name, SURL or location "SIM" were the image was first created. This way others can visit inworld.

Please contact the Administrator(s) with suggested images or names of a new member that should be invited to submit work. Periodically the contents will be culled and the content may be edited to keep the images and content presented uniformly of the highest quality. No offense should be taken if your work or a comment is removed for any reason. It is purely an editorial, publishing judgment to increasingly raise the bar.

This site is not intended to be a forum for self promotion but as a place to show of the talents of others. An invitation to post is a selected picture is the obvious exception to not posting one's own work.

The majority of photos are by invitation, or recommendation of a member. Members can post/upload one picture a day for consideration of inclusion, but all selections are moderated, and very few are added now, maybe 1 of 10 submitted and only 1/1000 viewed are even considered.

The pool is limited in size to make it manageable and will soon be fixed at 1000 photos if possible. If it grows beyond that, it will grow much slower in 2008.

For some time now for a new photo to be added it needed to be better then one already in the pool. This means that some have had to be removed to make room for new photos, The result is that the pool over time has become increasingly selective but continues to accept new works and evolve. This was the original intent expressed in the rules, it just grew faster and much larger then expected due to the abundance of talent and graciousness of the members.

There are a few informal moderators that help review the pool now but more are being considered since believe me this is becoming an increasingly thankless and time consuming task.

Hopefully we will soon be able to present to the members opportunities to publish thier work and receive additional recognition, awards, reward and or compensation. We have been approached a number of times. This of course will be only as approved by the members who are the copyright holders of all work.

Membership is open to all.
