About Seattle Street
Street shooters from Seattle join and post!
I havent seen any other Seattle Based Street photography group here on flickr yet, so I want to create one. I know of a few shooters who have their own sites and I have my own group 506 which is an international group of street shooters which has been in existence for fifteen years. However Im not getting the level of shooters and interest I wanted on it so I think a new group with more specific definition is whats needed.
The bottom line is, that I want as many people with a common link in either shooting street, or documentary, as a passion or a passing interest to join up and post your images.
Its well known that Seattle is a very intensive city for Street shooting, and I dont think that its been tapped into as much as it should be. Many notable photographers in the past and recently have made gestures toward Seattle as being a great place to shoot street, so lets get something going in this regard.
~A single caveat to this is that I would very much like for you to be aware of what it is to shoot street photography, its a discipline and skill to be honed and learned.
I have started to filter some of the images comming through basically because they have nothing to do with street photography.
So please join and upload regardless of your skill level.
