A companion group to our photograph-only Seattlest group, this is a group for encouraging and cultivating thoughtful, creative, and experimental uses of video, audio-enhanced photographs, and otherwise non still photography. By this we don't necessarily mean high production value (we love lo-fi); we just want something more meaningful than YouTube.
We are creating a separate group for this material because we love still photography and would like our photo pool to stay focused on that mode. On the other hand, Flickr has decided to allow video, for better and worse, and we want to give it a go.
This is not YouTube II, so we do not want to see dumb poodle tricks or shameless self-promotion. What we do want to see is creative documentation of Seattle that can't be entirely captured in one frame, either by portraying mundane aspects of the city in a compelling way or by portraying oddities that give Seattle its flavor.
