About Old Sears Crosstown Building

This group is about the Sears Crosstown Building and the memories from the past. The building was built in the 1920's and was a part of so many people's lives. I remember trips to this old milion-plus square foot structure as a child and was so intrigued with its immensness.

My family and I would park in the parking garage, head to the elevators and go down to the basement where we would take a subterrainean corridor from the garage to the main store. Upon entering... it was massive product sensory overload *lol*...

It would be nice to have some pictures uploaded here from the past and present. Photos of the hey day versus now... From all appearances, if something is not done very soon, the building could possibly be demolished. So jump in and upload what photos you have so we can all share and enjoy.. Your stories would be nice to.
