About Sea Life Motifs Mid-Century Modern
I'd like to collect in this group Mid-Century Modern-style images of fish, seahorses, mermaids, etc. Especially from the 50s and 60s.
Also welcome here are present-day artists working in the mid-century style. There are so many who are producing fantastic works that really complement vintage pieces.
They can be found on fabrics, clothing, cookware, dishes, glasses - all sorts of things! We love the sleek, stylized modern style, but super-cute and kitschy is welcome too! One of my favorite motifs of the era.
