About San Diego Area Museums, Libraries and Archives
We love our area museums, archives, libraries, and galleries! Did you know that San Diego's own Balboa Park is the densest cluster of museums and cultural centers in the Western United States? It's home to the world-renowned San Diego Zoo, Museum of Man, Mingei International Museum, San Diego History Center, San Diego Museum of Art, the Timken, San Diego Floral Association Library, San Diego Museum of Natural History, San Diego Air and Space Museum, the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, San Diego Automotive Museum, San Diego Model Railroad Museum, Museum of the Living Artist... the list goes on!
The rest of San Diego County is just as vibrant, with its wonderful San Diego Public Library, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and dozens of college and university galleries and museums.
