About Baked from Scratch

Do you realise how many bakeries in your area, included those super expensive specialty cake stores, use prepackaged cake mix to create their products?

Probably more than you'd care to know...So this group is dedicated to all things, baked from scratch. You can also see a list of the proud bakers who subscribe to the BFS mentality at our blog. And maybe even add yourself!

In the interests of making this group a little different to the tons of other bakery groups, all photos must be of items baked from scratch, and include any decorations which you made yourself. No store bought flowers or sugar shapes, but the use of premade fondant, cachous, pearls etc is fine.

Finally, please limit photos to 2-3 per "theme". It makes the pool more interesting to see more variety rather than mutlple photos of the same item but from different angles, one with flash, one without etc. Just choose your best snap and be confident!
