About Scott Kelby's Third Annual Worldwide Photo Walk - Philadelphia
The high temperature could not keep us down. The Philadelphia – Old City leg of the Worldwide Photo walk 2010 was one for the record books. We came together as one large assemblage to share our fervor for taking photographs; and that is exactly what we did. What an exceedingly enjoyable day!
In my opinion, it so astonishes me that people still made it out to the walk, in spite of the elevated temperature in addition to the humidity. As soon as I walked into Washington Square and saw the rest of the walkers sweating it out, I knew the whole thing would be tolerable. Lots of photographs were created, acquaintances were made, and that is what it was all actually about.
I was blessed with a very great assemblage of photographers. The Old City portion of Philadelphia couldn’t have been more accommodating – offering illustrious points of interests, models to pose for us, and inviting us to go to and discover the nooks and crannies that bring out what the city is all about. It actually was a magnificent occurrence.
Hey, what do you say we do another one next year (or sooner than that)?
