About Swabian Alemannische Fasnet
The Swabian Alemannische Fasnet is the fifth season in the region of Upper Swabia, the Black Forest and in parts of Switzerland.
In the foreground of Customs should stand. Wanted are photographs of masks, larvae, Haesen Customs and other demonstrations. Interestingly, of course, the parades and the particularities of individual guilds.

As Schwäbisch-Alemannic Carnival is Carnival in southwest Germany, in Vorarlberg, the German-speaking Switzerland and in Alsace means. There is usually Fasnet, carnival or Fasent called. It differentiates itself from the Rhineland carnival, can however only since the first quarter of the 20th Century as a separate form to establish. During the carnival in the 18th Century, a new form of Carnival developed, and the Swabian-Alemannic Carnival landscape pointed einschwenkte, besann they are in 20th Century on their traditions of medieval and early modern Carnival.
Characteristic is the masks of the participants with larvae or Schemmen (masks), mostly made of wood, in exceptional cases, but also from fabric, paper, clay, tin or wire (called Drahtgaze) exist. The costume makers (Swabian-Alemannic areas Hästräger) change their disguise (Häs) is not from year to year, but they always retain. In some areas, it is customary to them for generations to inherit.
