3pm fine for me too if we're not snowed in! Where's best to meet up?

The best access to the folly is off a road called Madge Lane. This can be got to either from a very sharp left hand turn just past the Rose & Crown in Severn Stoke, or follow the road through Kerswell Green. There is a layby next to the field, or park at the side of the road.
As Paul says - if we can get there... It will either be a complete white out or a very pretty sight!

Is that the road that is marked as Madge Hill on Google Maps? (g.co/maps/f6vka) ?
And if so, is it obvious where to go when we get there? I have no recollection of this folly, so have no idea what I'm looking for!
Regards,
Rob...

Hill or Lane... What's the difference :-)
Snow seems to be melting here now, so as long as it doesn't freeze tonight we should hopefully have some spectacular views tomorrow!

I've just been over to Severn Stoke and the road to the Rose & Crown is absolutly fine , However once you turn onto Madge Hill it's very very slushy and slippey ! i managed round the first couple of corners before the TCS kicked in and i came to a standstill..
How far is it to walk from the rose & Crown Car park?
or has anyone got 4 wheel drive that fancies carting us all up there :)

There does seem to be a slightly longer way around if you that the Second left after madge hill, then a left at the T junction it should take you round to the same place... dont know if it will be any better but might be worth a try :)
