08 Apr 11 - It's great to see the Scarlet Tiger larvae making an appearance already this year. Please keep posting - I am very intrigued to see if we will get any geotagged pictures from outside of the Oxford-Brighton-Somerset triangle this year as if you click on "map" you can see that all of the first 20 geotagged pics were in this area. Any sightings in Kent, South Wales or the Wirral coast ?

About Scarlet Tiger Moth

Photos, preferebly geotagged, of the Scarlet tiger moth (Callimorpha dominula, formerly Panaxia dominula) from anywhere in the world.

I am trying to establish if the artificial colony of Scarlet tiger moths introduced to the Wirral (on the North West coast of England) in the late 50's is still there. All photos will be appreciated, wherever in the world they are from, including caterpillars, pupae and eggs.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need further info.
