About Scanimal Safari
Join the photo hunt for the rare and elusive scanimal. Group FAQ is as follows:
Can I join this group?
Absolutely! This group is public and open to all.
What's a scanimal?
Scanimals are a rare sub-species of animal. In particular, scanimals are identified by their attraction to scanners, copiers, x-rays, and other non-photographic imaging technologies. Sometimes vain, they enjoy or have a proclivity to having their images captured in this manner.
Any species in kingdom Animalia may exhibit scanimal behavior. Mammals, birds, reptiles, insects, fish, and invertebrae are all candidates. Scanimals may be dead or alive.
What shouldn't I post here?
1. Photographs taken using cameras. These are almost always mere animals, not scanimals.
2. Images that are racist, sexually explicit, or offensive may be removed at admins' discretion.
3. Images without any clear relationship to Scanimals may be removed at the admins' discretion.
Anything else?
Nope, that's it. You may encounter scanimals on other related groups such as scanned objects - images using a scanner, Scanning as fine art, and Xeroxes, Scans, and Faxes. Happy hunting...
