Here are some tips to making your photos look even sicker using photo editing software like photoshop!

Tip1

Brightness/Contrast

Putting up slightly the brightness and contrast (ussually a ratio of 1/1.5) is goign to make you whites look whiter, your blacks look blacker and overall a much more attractive picture! try it out its really easy.

in photoshop click on the top bar Image > Adjustements > Brightness/Contrast

a menu will pop up, try putting up the Brightness to +8/+10 and the Contrast up to +10/+15 play around with them alittle, its different for every image (make sure the "Preview" box is checked to see what its going to look like!

Stay tunned for more tips!

Tip2

Saturation

sometimes, your camera just wont pick up all the vibrate colours in the shot on auto mode.

Simple trick for this in photoshop is to up the saturation slightly by clicking on

Image > Adjustments > Saturation

make sure the preview button is on and play with the slider bar until all those colour shine bright.

dont over do it because you dont want your picture looking like a pack of skittles!

Tip 3

Levels in photoshop are another way to brighten up dark photos.

in photoshop go into Image > Adjsutments > Levels

slide the white colour tab over to the left

for pictures that are overexposed or too bright, slide the black tab over to the right.

again, preview button is key on this one.

Tip 4

the famous S-curve.

open up your photo in photoshop, open up the Curves by going Image > adjustment > Curves.. ( or Ctrl + M)

the Curves graph will pop up with a straight diagonal line. click on the line to move it, creative and gentle "S" like curve.

golden rule applies! tick the preview box.
