About ExperienceWA (Washington State Tourism Photos)

Submit your experienceWA photos here!
Washington State Tourism official website, ExperienceWA.com is populating their site with photography taken by either local or visiting photographers (pro, semi-pro/pro-am & amateur). Besides collecting point-of-interest photography, we are specifically looking for photos that carry the ExperienceWA message: personal, human element or a personal point-of-view, aggressive composition with a dominant object or color, taken within Washington State and they are photos that say, “You had to be there!” The architecture for ExperienceWA.com is centered on individual points-of-interest (POIs) in Washington State. POIs are cities, landmarks, restaurants, mountains, trails, parks, hotels, wildlife areas, etc. – basically any place that is mappable. So each POI will have their own page on the site and hopefully a photo and some copy to accompany it.
To obtain these photos, we are working with the fine photographers on Flickr and within this group.
How to participate:
1. Join this group!
2. Submit your best Washington State photos to this group.
***Please note the current ExperienceWA.com design allows for horizontal shots only. Portrait shots are occasionally licensed if there is an appropriate crop can be found to fit in the site design.***
3. Read discussion boards for updates or further instructions.
4. If one or more of your photos are tagged by the ExperienceWA Team, then you may either contact us or wait to hear from us on licensing. We wil ask for an off-Flickr email address at this time, so a licensing agreement can be sent to you in electronic ("soft") form.
5. Get familiar with licensing agreements, if you are not already, and get ready for your photo to be on ExperienceWA.com.
Questions? Please contact brandi @ brandilane.com for any inquiries about this project.
Thanks for all your submissions, keep snapping!
