About Kickapoo State Park
This group was originally created in response to the August 2008 announcement that Kickapoo State Park was one of several state parks and historic sites to be closed by Governor Blagojovech. That did not come to pass, and since all the other parks and sites have been re-opened (thank you Governor Quinn). Consequently I have changed the name from "Save Kickapoo State Park" to simply "Kickapoo State Park" in hopes we can continue to celebrate this local treasure. Thanks!
