About
This group might be for you! Especially if you're a tourist that doesn't want to visit the normal tourist destinations, but you want to visit San Francisco's Real Side!
We just ask you to keep all photos you submit in San Francisco County Limits, otherwise it defeats the purpose the group.
We also ask that you not to add these cliches to the group:
•The two bridges (You may add the Bay Bridge if there aren't any cars on the road or if it was taken from Forest Road in Treasure Island.)
•Downtown (especially east of Powell and 5th streets).
•Lombard Street
•Fisherman's Wharf
•The Exploratorium AND The Palace of Fine Arts
•Mission Dolores
•Not hating on Chinatown, but No Chinatown (unless you somehow manage to get the local perspective, such as its alleyways and its SROs).
•Cable Cars and F-line Streetcars (unless you see a California Car on the Hyde/Mason tracks and the F-line Streetcars on the Muni Metro system)
•Golden Gate Park Museums (includes Academy of Sciences, DeYoung Museum, Conservatory of Flowers)
•Cliff House
•The Zoo
•Alcatraz and Angel Islands (This is a big one, particularly because most of Angel Island is within either Marin or Alameda Counties)
•Does Point Reyes or Half Moon Bay look like they're in San Francisco? Of course not!
•Maybe not add anything that tourists normally visit please?
•Keep it safe out there~!
•And most important, share, comment, and be merry!
