About sanctus: male saints

Sanctus is a group for images of male Saints - in glass, stone, wood or any other medium, from Medieval, Victorian, Modern or any time.

This group is not intended for images of Christ, or of God the Father.

Remember, MALE Saints only! Female Saints can be posted in the parallel group Sancta: www.flickr.com/groups/sancta/

SIngle images or images from the narrative of the Saint are welcome. Images that include a male Saint and a female Saint together can be posted in both groups.

This group is not intended for images of Christ, or of incidents in the life of Christ. However, where it is a key moment in the narrative of a Saint, for example the infant Christ meeting St John the Baptist, or Christ displaying his wounds to St Thomas, then you can post it.

Images of named angels are welcome - Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, and as many others as you like. But no general shots of angels, please. You may post as many images of St Gabriel as you like, but please put Annunciation scenes in the Annunciation group: www.flickr.com/groups/annunciation/

New images of those Saints already posted are also welcome. There is no limit to the number of images you can post.

This is an open group, so please feel free to invite anyone else who might be interested.
