About Miksang - Student Forum

This group exists solely to continue the teachings of Miksang Dharma for San Antonio students. One must have taken Miksang courses to become a member. We hope to continue the learning started in classes by discussing our responses to each other's photographs.

Rules/Guidelines:

1. Please state in your photo's description what you were aiming for in the photo, using the standardized terms we all learned in class (color, light, space, dot in space, ordinary personal world, etc.).

2. Please also use these terms in your photo's tags.

3. If you did not originally take the photo using the discipline and process learned in class, but, on reviewing it, you think that it is a Miksang photo, please explain that.

4. For every photo you post, please view and comment on at least one (preferably two) photos from other people.

5. When you are reviewing the photos in this group, please use your first perceptions, just like you do when you are photographing Miksang. When commenting, compare your perception with what the photographer states their perception was.
