About Saltair Rail Car

This is a single object group for a collection of historical images of the old burnt out rail car located in Saltair, close to the Great Salt Lake in Utah, USA. The car was built in 1918 and scrapped in February 2012. No new images are possible. Any scanned images from the 20thC are very welcome.
For decades this was a popular and inspiring motive for photographers. It may be possible with this group to document some history of the vehicle, the changing graffiti, how different photographers have created different images from the same object, and at the very least a set of links to other Flickr members who for a moment made this subject their subject.
