20 Mar 11 - I'm going to make a lot of people moderators so you can promote the group and invite photos. It would be lovely to have thousands of photos from around the world but I can't do it by myself! It's all a bit random so if you really want to help and I miss you out .. just ask!

About Sakura / Cherry Blossom - Hanami for Japan 2011

The idea of this group is to show our solidarity with the people of Japan by celebrating Hanami, the cherry blossom viewing festival. I have always thought what a good idea this festival is, and I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling powerless in the face of the triple disaster that has befallen Japan.

Hanami time is now, so let us share our common humanity by sharing this season with the Japanese people.
