About sahyadris
On the Malabar coast of southern India, along the Arabian Sea, lies a range of mountains known as the Sahyadris. Far more ancient than the larger and better-known Himalayas to the north, the Sahyadris harbor the most intact rainforests of peninsular India. Within these
forests are countless species of flora and fauna found nowhere else on earth, making this one of the most biodiverse regions on planet.
