About UNICEF UK Children of Morocco Trek: The Sahara Challenge

The Sahara Challenge will take participants through one of the largest deserts in the world and one of the last true great areas of wilderness. Trekking for UNICEF offers the unique opportunity to visit one of our projects in Ouarzazate, Morocco where you will be able to see first hand how your money will help children to meet their full potential.

UNICEF has been working in Morocco for decades to improve the lives of children. One of our key programme areas is the protection of children from child labour, sexual exploitation and violence in schools. We are also concentrating our efforts on child and maternal health.

To take part in the Morocco trek you will need to raise at least £2,600 and pay a non-refundable deposit of £275. We will support you in all your fundraising activities with ideas to help you achieve your target.
