The Danish Royal Army's Zombie Task Force (R.Z.T.F. for short) was a response team that was created in 2066 after the RAGE epidemic broke out. It began as a team of five of the Danish Royal Army's most elite soldiers. But after RAGE spread and started infecting surrounding countries and continents, Denmark needed a larger R.Z.T.F., and the Danish Royal Army Hunter Corps, the Jægerkorpset, was turned into the new zombie response team. The year is 2089, 23 years after the first case of RAGE. The world is now barren, having been ravaged by the virus and its ghouls. Denmark is home to over 30 underground colonies, where survivors of the virus have been sheltered for over two decades. The 136 soldiers of R.Z.T.F. patrol the wastelands of Denmark, hunting down RAGE ghouls and teaming up with the Danish Armed Forces Health Services (FSU) to find a cure and rid Europe of the RAGE virus.
