Description:
In 1795, Russian forces betrayed Georgia in face of a Persian invasion. Georgia was defeated and later annexed by Russia.
In 1921 Bolshevik Russia invaded independent Georgia and established soviet rule there, during which hundreds thousands of Georgians were murdered.
Despite that, 700,000 Georgians bravely fought in the Red Army against Nazi Germany.
On April 9, 1989, Russian troops used force to disperse a peaceful demonstration in Tbilisi, killing dozens of peaceful civilians.
In 1991 and 1993, separatists and murderers backed by Russian Federal Forces in Abkhazia and South Ossetia expelled 400,000 Georgians from their homes and murdered thousands. Georgians were expelled from lands historically theirs and still cannot return to their homes.

But this wasnt enough.

Recently, the Russian government has been trying to pressure pro-Western Georgia by increasing the price of gas sold to Georgia; sabotaging the electricity supply of Georgia; banning Georgian wine and Georgian mineral waters in Russia; and still supporting the illegitimate governments of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Following the arrest of Russian spies in Georgia, here are some of the measures that were taken by the Russian government:
- Schools in Moscow were required to report to the local police stations all students with Georgian names.
- Police were given instructions to treat Georgians rougher than everyone else.
- Georgian-owned businesses were raided by the police.
- Georgian looking people have been apprehended by Russian police in the streets of Moscow and many were deported.

In Russia now, every Georgian is treated like a criminal by the government.

This is racism. This is NOT acceptable in the 21st century.

This is a struggle of a small and proud country against the aggression of a big neghbor.

This group is NOT against Russian people, it is against the Russian government and its aggressive policies against Georgia.

It is about time that people in America and elsewhere know better what is happening in the Republic of Georgia and the former USSR in general.

August 2008-

Georgia is now a victim of a brutal aggression initiated by Russia and its chronies in the Caucasus. After Georgian troops defeated the criminal regime of South Ossetia, Russian troops blatantly violated Georgian sovereignty and invaded the country. Georgian army has been fighting one of the best armies in the world for days now. As of now, Russian tanks are advancing to Tskhinvali and Russian Jets are bombing Georgian cities.

The criminal regime that the Russians set up in South Ossetia has accused Georgia of genocide against the Ossetian people. This is a terrible lie and another Kremlin-sponosred provocation. Georgia has always been a multi-national countries that has been home to Georgians, Jews, Ossetians, Armenians, and Abkhazians among others. All these nations have lived in Georgia peacefully for many centuries.

Georgia is not waging a war against Ossetians, Georgians have lived side by side with Ossetians for centuries. Georgia is defending itself from the Russian nationalists who sit in Kremlin and what to annex Georgian land to rebuild an empire that is long gone.

The real genocide happened in Ossetia in the late 1980s and early 1990s when Russian-backed thugs and the Russian military expelled 40,000 Georgian civilians from their homes and killed thousands more.

This is a war in which a small but proud nation fights for its right to exist against a superpower that wants to destroy it.

The Russian media claims that Georgia started this conflict. This is another blatant lie. Why would a nation of 4 million people ever even think of attacking a 150-million people world superpower?! This is similar to the siutation in 1939 when Nazi Germany claimed that it was Poland who actually started the War.

The world has to say at some point that enough is enough. Hypocrits and murderers have to be confronted. And they are.
