About Running With Pictures
"Running with Pictures" is a group for photography styles such as-
Documentary
Black & White
Street Photography
Photojournalism
HDR **Note Extreme HDR**
Photoshop edited PP
Photoshop work is accepted as long as it keeps it within the realm of a photo. What we don't want is graphic design artwork.
As I roam around flickr's groups, I notice that a lot of it has become "place our logo on at least 5-10 photos and comments are great, but optional"
Well, this bothered me, especially the "comments are optional"
So I am creating this group with the intent to, NOT become one of the mass groups that just want their logo everywhere.
If you want to post your photography here, you Must leave constructive criticism on the photos here. This is a place for photographers to get actual "Feedback" on their work.
Now, I think it's great to advertise, but there seems to be a lack of boundaries on a lot of groups.
If you want to leave a group logo, feel free to do so, BUT please be respectful and leave a comment and not just "Great Pic".
This is obviously a moderated group.
You may submit TWO photos a day.
Once this group picks up, we will have weekly contests.
**No Nude Photography (even if done tastefully)**
**No offensive photos (use your judgement)**
**Photos may be taken down without reason by moderators**
**You Must comment on the photography here**
(please have a little more to say other than "great pic" "nice" "good work" You get the idea)
If you don't want your photos to be critiqued, you are in the wrong place.
This is a place to come when you want constructive criticism about your work.
