About Railroad Geotagged
(formerly RRGEO)
Make tracks to where track were made, the global positioning system has pinpointed railroad related locations both long forgotten, off the beaten track, and overused alike. Miniature, garden, traction, foreign, passenger and freight, full length trains or ariel views of train yards are just as welcome as your macro shot details demonstrating how to paint the pocket watch of a Z-scale conductor model figureine [ ie: we would love to see you sitting around making little faces] - they are all welcome here, as long as 'here' shows up on a map. Just like the title "Railroad Geotagged." those are the only two rules.
[p.s. trolls will be grounded from the overhead wire, and photo thieves will get booted with the hotshoe.]
Geocache you later!

==== RRGEO RULES of the ROAD ====
Safety First! RRGEO must be safe for all guests and passengers.
Second requirement: Only what is related to railroading belongs here - Workers, Wheels and Window shots from your coach seat are just as welcome as a snapshot of a token or a model train, Dinner from the Diner, nothing could be finer, than to have your ham and eggs in Carolina. Combination shots are even better, hold up your commemorative pin, ticket and gift bag viewing the station with the engine in the frame and we're Stoked as a Big Boy popping our safety valve!
Third requirement: Only what is geotagged belongs here. The top three PURPOSEs of this group are LOCATION, LOCATION & LOCATION! Primarily intended as a research tool, live action images best describe the usefulness of working railroads for the historical record, making RRGEO a repository of archeology to ferreoequinologists (gurus of the Iron Horse) who find it is best to photograph an undisturbed artifact. Be sure add your photo to the map, or you can't post it to www.flickr.com/groups/rrgeo/ RRGEO Railroad Geotagged.
The group name directs the right of way. All aboard! --(o=8> Wiz.
