This pool of photos should be diverse. Although the group's theme touches upon repitition, let's not repetitively post the obvious again and again. Dig below the surface.

About Routines and Rituals

Routines, rituals, habits, schedules, repetitive behaviors, we all have them. From the spiritual, to the mundane, to the unaware, to the fully realized, they are inescapable. Doubt that? You probably ate today right? Daily routines, local customs, and all other forms of these behaviors occur on many scales, from the singular to the global. Some are biological, some are psychological (aware or not), some are social, and some are environmental.

Here is a place to collect and document these bits and pieces. What is it you do? Walk around like a dog before you make you bed? Compose lists like a freak? Have you ever shook a hand or kissed a cheek hello? There must be hundreds of ways to say hello, never mind every other moment of our days. What about photography? Maybe you have to drink your favorite coffee during post-porcessing? Most of us take the same route to work everyday (even if it is in our own home). No matter how irregular what we do or how we do it is, and no matter how novel or common we are as individuals, we all share them.

Post your photos to the pool.

Essential: Let us know what it is about your photo that makes it a routine or ritual
