23 Jul 10 - From batch 1-25 we're missing just RM 21 - an early casualty, being sold and scrapped in August 1984.
From 26-50 we're missing 27,28,30,32,33,34,35,39,41,43,48 and 50.

I've now tagged all of my RM/RML photos and have been amazed to find that I have well over 600 images of different buses in the main series. I know I also have quite a lot more Routemaster pics to scan over time, but mainly in service outside London: Glasgow, Hull, Burnley, Bedford, Southampton and Reading spring to mind.

About London Routemasters *IN ORDER*

OK, this is going to be quite a challenge, and probably quite a long term challenge. Read on, it's not as straightforward as other groups...

The aim of the group is to get a complete set of pictures of the original London Transport Routemaster class:

Prototypes 1-4
RM 5-879
RML 880-903
RM 904-1253
RMF 1254
RM 1255-1452
RMC 1453-1520
RM 1521-2217
RCL 2218-2260
RML 2261-2760

I want the Group Pool to have just *one* image (well I'm still debating as to whether there should be a few more) of each bus which will be selected from those posted to the discussion thread topics.

So, rather than posting directly to the group pool, I'll be starting discussion topics for batches of say 25 vehicles, initially RMs 1-25, to which you can post your best pictures of vehicles in that batch. If you see relevant pictures in someone else's Photostream, please post a link to that page on the discussion topic.

Once we have got a number of images to select from, then the best for each vehicles will be invited to the Pool.

Once we've got an almost complete batch (or, after a reasonable amount if time it's obvious we're not going to find pictures of certain vehicles) , then a new topic will be started for the RM26-50 batch, and so on.

Got it? I'm not sure I understand myself!
