About Romanian Monarchy

This group is focussing essencially on the Kings and Queens of Romania (Carol I, Elizabeth/Carmen Sylva, Ferdinand and Marie, Carol II and Helen, Mihai I and Ana and their immediate family (the children of Ferdinand I and of Mihai I respecively).
However by extension one does include immediate relations of the members of the Romanian Royal family, in particular: parents, siblings, aunts and uncles of the following Royals:
Queen Elizabeth of Romania, Princess of Wied
Queen Marie of Romania, Princess of Great Britain
Carol I King of Romania, Prince of Hohenzollern,
Ferdinand I von Hohenzollern, King of Romania
Marie of Edinburgh Princess of Great Britain, Queen of Romania
Helen, Princess of Greece, (Regina Mama)
Anne de Bourbon-Parme, Princess of Denmark (Regina Ana)

The items accepted for the Pool could be either historic portraits and picture postcards, photos of royal residences, objects and historic memorabilia or museum pieces related to the Romanian Monarchy.
Also of interest are historic State Visits to Romania by Foreign monarchs and the visit by Romanian royals abroad as well as the pictures of the Crowning at Alba Iulia and various official ceremonies (Opening of Parliament, Te Deums, Military Parades and official duties)
