About Rocksteady insects
A small group for interested parties to view or upload and share photographs of all insects (especially flies) engaging in a breakdance or electric boogaloo, or any similar ghetto hip-hop routine.
Often misinterpreted as "self-cleaning behaviour", many flies and insects can often be seen on urban street corners "busting their moves". This may take the form of a little fine tuning on a power move - such as "The Windmill", "The Swipe" or "Flare" , maybe even perfecting a "Handstand", " PIke" or "Freeze", or possibly even a little "robotics".
Rarely seen, there is almost invariably a "lead fly" hidden nearby (in a crack of a pavings stone or under a leaf etc...) with a tiny wee boombox, pumping out those breakbeats, very often "The Rocksteady Crew" , "Malcolm McLaren" or "Run DMC", but set to insect hearing frequency only...
So come on.... whether your hip-hoppng b-boy or b-girl insect is "top-rocking" or "down-rocking", whether its "butterfly kicking" or "6-stepping".... it doesn't matter to us here at Rocksteady Towers.
Upload your breakdancing insect photographs (they don't have to be brilliant quality - most of mine are pretty bad) and...
BUST A MOVE.
NB. Please check out the Group Rules page, (I think there's er... ONE rule) before joining - and please don't feel in order to join you have to start uploading photographs to the group. Thats not what we're all about...
This is meant to be a laugh. Thats all!
