About Rocks on Postcards
To make it simpler, I have named the group "Rocks on Postcards". However I hope that the scope of this group will be quite a bit wider.
PLEASE SHARE WITH US IN THE POOL:
Postcards of interesting rocks, rock formations, balanced rocks, arches, cliffs, canyons, gorges, mountains, volcanoes etc... Results of erosion, volcanic activity. Anything geologically interesting. Colors (including moss, lichen, grass...) and textures on rocks and mountains. Petrified forests. Stones used in ancient monuments etc. (example: Stonehenge). Postcards of interesting stones, pebbles, and cobble stone streets can be included as well.
I have been fascinated with rocks, their textures, colors and shapes ever since I have been a little kid growing up near Adrspach and Teplice Rocks in Czech Republic. I love collecting postcards and "rocks" is my #1 subject. I hope you will enjoy this group as much as I already do. If you have any interesting cards related to this topic for trade (preferably 4" x 6" = 10 x 15 cm), please send me a link to your album. I always love to trade for cards like this! I do prefer to see a photo first. Thanks!
If you are curious about Adrspach rocks, the place which probably "caused" this obsession of mine, here are some photos from flickr:
