About Rock Photos Finest!
THE BEST OF MEMBERS' ROCK PHOTOS AS SELECTED BY OTHERS
The idea of the group is to display only the high quality and contextual representation of Rock Culture and photography. This is determined by members themselves by rating photos. Only the best will survive. Only the photos with the highest scores will remain in the group.
RULES:

Posting:
- Post 1 photos per time only!
- Wait for at least 5 more photos to be posted by others to post again.
Scoring:
- Comment and score 5 photos preceding yours (5 to the immediate right of yours).
- Scoring first 3 photos require comments/critique. Scoring last 2 photos require scores only (commencts optional).
- Score immediately after submitting your photo.
- Scoring scale is 5 points (being the highest score).
- Decimal is possible with only 1 decimal point (eg 4.3).
- Score by cut and pasting the following and adding your score:

- Leave a comment, general critique, explanation of your score.
Evaluation:
- Only median 3 scores will be considered and calculated for total score(sum of 3 median scores / by 3). The highest and the lowest scores will be omitted.
- Photos with total of 12 or more points (based on 3 medians) will remain in the group.
- Members are asked to remove their photos with score less than 12 (the total of median 3 scores) themselves. Otherwise admins will sweep the group on a regular basis.
Reposting:
- Photos that you feel were scored unfairly due to the scorers particular taste, religious affiliation, political persuasion or sexual orientation can be reposted. However, the below points should be strictly followed.
- It is only possible to repost photos that got less than 12 point score (don’t fish for the highest score if you already got 14 and consider you may lose whatever you have already).
- You MUST delete all the previous Rock Photos Finest! Scores on the reposted photo in order to avoid confusion.
- Do not repost more than a couple of times. By then it must be obvious your photo is not the perfection.
Do’s:
- 1 photo posting per timeonly.
- Wait for 5 other photos to be posted to post one again!
- Comment and score.
- Use the provided copy paste field at the end of your comment to score.
- Remove your photo yourself if it got less than 12 points.
- Remove photo only after it got 5 scores (even if the first two are hopelessly low).
- Post your best photos of any rock related subject matter (concerts, band shots, portraits, music street culture).
- All AC/DC photos, however poor quality, must be scored 4 points or more.
Don’t:
- Flood the group.
- Forget to comment/score previous 5 photos.
- Revenge score.
- Be an ass.
- Post non-music related photos, photos unrelated to broad concept of “rock”, casual shots of your grandchildren’s kindergarten play.
- Underscore AC/DC shots.
