The Rockford Photo Club is a joining together of men and women, young and old, who share a common love for photography—not just observing it, but doing it.

The Rockford Photo Club was first established in 1947, as the “Lens & Shutter Club,” but in December of 2005 the decision was made to update the club with a new name and the establishment of a website.

Our primary objectives are to improve our photography and to appreciate photography as and art form. Through displays, contests, field trips, presentations and workshops, hopefully, we accomplish just that.

PLEASE NOTE: Any photos added to the Rockford Photo Club group pool may be displayed on the Rockford Photo Club website located at www.rockfordphotoclub.com.
