About International Rock-Flipping Day

International Rock-Flipping Day is moving to the third Sunday in September in 2009: September 20. This group is for people to share photos or other images they have created of whatever they find under rocks on that day. Pictures of people (or bears, raccoons, etc.) flipping rocks on that date are also permissible. Photos or artwork may be posted later, but they should have been taken on, or created in response to, that day.

Please remember to replace all rocks that you flip, and be careful not to crush anything beneath them.

EXCEPTION FOR SCHOOLS: Since schools aren't in session on Sundays, school teachers may organize IRFD-inspired events on either the preceding Friday or the following Monday and post their results to this group.
