We strip down and Jello wrestle. Why ? you may ask. Because Leroy is the home of Jello.
We really just sit around and talk and eat and drink what we feel like.

Let's meet, eat, chat, and shoot. That's what we do. Wednesdays are fine... Spot would work again, as would Bodhi's. We could try Salenas if they wouldn't mind a nebulous group potentially ordering food at asynchronous times. Or, possibly Sahara (formerly Basha) -- they're usually quiet on weeknights and have a sort of side-room that would accomodate our raucousness well. These latter two options are more meal-related, while the others are less so. I like meals, dunno about the rest of y'alls.

Wednesday is a lunar eclipse. Let's meet somewhere with a dome or a ceiling of glass. Or Lux and Boulder have patios.

Dang, if Sahara's closed, that sucks rocks.
Distillery Mt. Hope sounds like a great idea. There's no major sports event this Wednesday, is there? Prolly hockey or some such crap.

Mike, You put your foot down in a good spot. Distillery has $2.50 pints on Wednesdays. Chances are good I'll join in. Favorite choices, Anchor Steam, Newcastle, Bass, Guiness, Franzischkaner, etc.

Yeah the distillery has a deck up on the roof (I live no more than 30 metres from there) but it's February so I doubt it's just 'open'

Once again, I'm out of touch for a week and look at what happens. Well, the Distillery on the 20th is great. See you all there. As for the strobist thing, I'm not really sure the Distillery will have the space for that sort of thing, but my gear bag is right next door if we are so inclined.

I'm around that night, but it's my only free night this week, so let's see how much laundry/errands/etc. I can squeeze in before then! I hope I can go to some more of these in the coming months :) I just found out that I'm officially leaving Rochester, at least for a few years, late this summer--got into grad school in Boston, and I'll probably be moving in July or August!

Tonight's the night -- and if it's as crisp and clear as the last couple of nights, the eclipse will be spectacular! Have you been out at night lately to see the moon-as-spotlight effect? It's amazing with the bright snow & ice around...
I'm counting about 8 yeses and 6 maybes at this point, so I'm looking forward to seeing you all. I'm aiming to be there at 7:30 with an appetite for dinner. Seeya!

Wow...totally forgot that there would be an eclipse tonight! Plus, I'm really in the mood for some French onion soup--for some reason, the Distillery manages to make it really well. My rehearsal last night was canceled so I got tons of laundry done already, so I guessss I can sneak out of the apartment tonight. Count me as a maybe for dinner, and I'll drag along BenBlue22 as well.

i understand, but i wouldn't feel right going, uh, anywhere without a loaded camera -- especially on the night of a total lunar eclipse (even though we couldn't really see it anyway, ha!) :P
