Here's my first, taken about half an hour after sunset, with the Sun behind me.

yeah thanks :) it was so hot, and the views were so beautiful across the sea. The land in this shot is actually Albania, which we could see from were we were staying :D

River Ouse at Dusk
I used the camera's flash to bring up the foreground interest. Enhanced colours slightly in CS3.

This is my second attempt at a sunset. I first took this exact shot when I was 14 from my mums bathroom window. Anyway, 24 years later I had the chance to do it again. Hardly taken a photo in all those years, but in the summer I bought a Fuji S5800 and been listening to Rob's fantastic podcasts on how to use it. Hopefully the photos will get better, but here we go!

Con trails are too much fun. I should have dropped the ISO, but the jet was moving rather quickly towards the horizon, so I lost my chance.

Nice! Cold, clear mornings are great for con trails if you're lucky enough to live under a flight path.

I just sat at this beach taking shot after shot while enjoying the warm breeze and eating a lobster roll.
Edit - oops it's an old (by a couple months) shot.
Edit 2- It's Harding's Beach, Chatham, Massachusetts (on Cape Cod).

Lovely Sunset, where was it taken?
Don't worry about the date, the technique challenges always stay open, and in the next podcast I'll tell everybody that if they want to add photos to the old monthly assignments that'd be great too.
Cheers, Rob.

Well, I did go out deliberately to take some sunset/dusk shots but I will be honest and say it was not with this challenge in mind. I've had the "shape interrupted" task in my mind for a couple of weeks but seeing as I have failed to produce anything I'm happy with I'm going to contribute to this thread instead! These were taken a week ago.

Very Nice! It's great to photograph when noone else is around, just you, your camera and the scenery.
Great stuff!

Nice sunset!
To post bigger photo's, click on the "all sizes" link above your photo, look for "medium", then highlight and copy the first lot of html under the photo, then paste it into a forum reply.
Cheers, Rob.
