A collection of visitor photos from the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium and properties of the Dubuque County Historical Society.

The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium is located in Dubuque, Iowa, and is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution. The Museum & Aquarium, and the other Dubuque Co. Historical Society museum properties, are accredited by the American Association of Museums (AAM).

The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium has six large aquariums that feature giant catfish, turtles, otters, ducks, frogs, reptiles, and more!

Numerous exhibits display and explain the Mississippi River's culture and history, and include a focus on environmental conservation along the length of the this great river to the Gulf of Mexico.

In addition to the impressive river campus, interactive exhibits and "Living History" demonstrations bring life to our wonderful historic properties.
