The Group
Welcome to the group connecting RGD Ontario Student and Provisional RGD members with industry professionals. This space exists for emerging designers to share their design work in the goal of receiving constructive feedback from professionals in the field. It's all part of building the RGD community, strengthening our network, and growing as designers.
The RGD
The Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario (RGD Ontario) represents more than 3,000 graphic designers, managers, educators and students across Ontario.
Instructions
Join the group and have a look around. Leave constructive comments on the work that is already posted on the group.
If you are a Student or Provisional member of the RGD, you can post your own work to the group pool to get feedback from other members, including RGD professionals. To do this, first upload photos/videos to your personal photostream. In the photo description, include the title of your project, your year of study (or whether you are a Provisional), and a description/rationale of your project. You may also include a link to your portfolio site or a full-res version (if you are showing a website, then post a screenshot with a URL in the description). If you are uploading a video, please note that Flickr limits videos to a maximum length of 90 seconds and maximum file size of 150 MB. If your original video is too large, you may want to give us a preview here on Flickr and provide a link to the full version.
Once an image is uploaded to your own photostream, make sure that the privacy settings allow others to see your photo. Then click Send to Group above the image and select RGD Critique Space to add the image to the group pool. Your image will be reviewed by our moderators before becoming visible to the group.
Please note that every month, you can upload a maximum of 4 photos/videos to the group pool. If you would like feedback on a few concepts for the same project, then upload one image file that contains all the concepts. This will make it easier to get good feedback.
