About LA REVOLUCIÓN DE LAS COMETAS (KITE REVOLUTION)

Hello everybody – i just want to explain to you why i' ve decided to create this group. I' ve always been very interested in the social importance of the kites in the world... I' ve always seen them not just as an artistic expression but as a symbol of innocence, of freedom, of hope... And as a different way to express emotions...

From the rurals areas of the Andes to the shanty towns of India – passing trough the favelas of Brazil and the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq – kites are flying high and proud asking for change... for peace and justice.

If you don't have pictures with kites it doesn't matter (I also don't) Just post pictures that you think have something in common with theme of our group.

Protest works are welcome too – because a fight against injustice is one of the purposes of this group.

All suggestions are welcome!!
