Those advertisements in old magazines that use a cartoon-like speech bubble, or talk cloud, to help drive a message home about the product or service they are selling. I personally find many of them - read: most of them - amusing, and provide me with a sense of the era in which they were created. A simpler time.

If they catch your eye, too, join the group, and share them with the rest of the world.

About Retro Speech Bubbles

A niche for the collection of photographs and scans of vintage advertisements out of old magazines or newspapers, posters, record albums, etc that use a speech bubble (or talk cloud, or thought cloud) to send an important, attention-getting message to the reader.

Looking for old, authentic stuff - no subject is off limits. The more, the merrier, and there are no limits on how many you can contribute each day. But, please, no recently created artwork.

Partial or complete ads are welcome.

Finally, as BubbleGod, remember I have the power to remove uploads that do not meet the intent or spirit of the group.

So, TALK TO ME - in a speech bubble, of course !
