13 Jul 09 - Hey all! Please post photos that include as much of the entire 1940s or 1950s styled retail store as you can. Id rather see the ENTIRE DESIGN as a whole, rather than small details like only the sign or only the floor, Thanks!

Please no Victorian or 1920s traditional and ornate storefronts. Im trying to go for the more modern and clean lined storefronts of the Mid Century modern era.

About Vintage Storefront Design (1940s-1950s)

This group is all about the vintage storefront designs of the golden era of downtown shopping-THE 1940s and 1950s! You know, those awesome designs that incorporated neon signs, huge display cases, Long entryways and terrazzo floors.

***GUIDELINES***
Please post exterior photos of 1940s, 50s or early 60s storefronts. BUT PLEASE DO NOT STRAY TOO FAR FROM THE 1950s AREA OF STYLE.

Also, original vintage images of how a store looked like brand new would be fantastic!
