About Renewing Rural America

This group is about celebrating rural life and exploring how rural communities are stepping up to keep Rural America vibrant.

Too often, we the story of Rural America is one of decay or one of romanticism. This pool is meant to showcase the real and renewing Rural America.

The group is administered by the Center for Rural Affairs (www.cfra.org), a nationally recognized policy analysis and advocacy organization focused on the upper Midwest and Great Plains

From time to time, we'd really love to use photos in this group on our Web site to tell the story, so if possible, we'd like photos submitted here to be under creative commons. (We do use a flickr "badge" of scrolling thumbnails -- only public photos -- on a few of our pages but in addition, we'd love to feature bigger images on our pages.) If your photo is saved under creative commons and we do use it, we will always give full credit and links back to your Flickr page.

But, that's not a necessity to adding photos here. We just want to start to pool to bring together photos that show the real Rural America.
