About That reminds me of this

The idea behind this group is to post pictures that look like the previous post and hopefully create some kind of stream of thought. Furthermore you will be required to judge the connections made by the previous 5 posts. If any given picture gets less than 2 positive connections, they will first get a warning that they are making poor contributions. A second violation will result in a banning from the group. If your make the 4th "I don't see the connection" comment on a picture, then please post it in the discussion area so that it can be sorted out.

Now connections can be obvious (two pictures of a tree) or they can be subtle (similar colour patterns on two unrelated subjects). If your post has a subtle connection, then it's in your own interest to explain the connection (preferably in your description) so that people will not vote against you.

Have fun!

I [don't] see the connection!

From the <a href="http://www.flickr.com/groups/reminds_me_of/">That reminds me of this</a> group.
--------------------

This group was inspired by a picture that looks like this which I think was an awesome idea that didn't work as well as it potentially could have.

The major reason that it didn't really work was that people spammed the group. They'd join and then post pictures that were completely unrelated to the previous picture and so the whole idea failed. So hopefully with this group we will be able to block this kind of spamming... We'll see.
