About 'Remember the person' photo competition now closed

Alzheimer’s Society’s 'Remember the person' photography competition is now closed.

During the competition we invited members of the public to capture the reality of what it is like to live with dementia today.

Looking beyond the stereotypes of living with the disease, we wanted to gather a collection of photographs that capture what it really means to live with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

We hope these photographs will help us to change perceptions of dementia and remind people that behind every diagnosis there is a person living with the condition.

We will be announcing the winners and contacting them individually in the next couple of days.

The winning entries will also be available on this page of our website
