14 Jul 10 - welcome to our new group. what is americana? well, merriam-webster define it as: "materials concerning or characteristic of america, its civilization, or its culture; broadly: things typical of america", but i'm not sure that it really helps. to me it's a feeling, a sense that the image could only really have been taken in america...oh, and (purely in my mind) an image that should surely be acompanied by an old blues song or a slide guitar.

About Religious AmericanaHopefully the title is clear enough, this group is dedicated to americana and religion: roadside notices, storefront churches, random crosses, trailer chapels, painted cars and trucks, etc, etc. black and white or colour, anything is welcome, just keep it clean. |
