We are a husband and wife who share a love of art and photography. We met while attending the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where we both earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photographic/Electronic Imaging. Each of us has also studied at the Rhode Island School of Design. In addition to practicing photography, we have spent the past 10 years working professionally as web and graphic designers.
In 2005 our lives were forever changed when we lost our first son Owen just two short weeks before his due date despite a normal pregnancy. Losing a child is a tragedy no parent should endure. We have since had a healthy and beautiful daughter who fills our lives with joy, yet we will always feel the loss of Owen’s presence. We see Owen’s spirit in all children, and we hope that by capturing the lives of other families, he will in fact, live on.
As parents, we have been blessed to experience the amazement that is seeing your child for the first time. The miracle of birth... The perfectness of a newborn... That intense love we feel when gazing upon photos of our daughter from those early days is what motivates us to share our talent with others.
We love working with babies and children of all ages. Its fascinating and fulfilling to be able to capture each child's unique personality and to watch them grow over the years. It is incredibly rewarding to be able to provide a service that is so meaningful to a family. We feel very fortunate to be welcomed into the lives of the families who hire us, and we hope that the memories we preserve for them will last for generations to come.
