Regional Newspaper Billboards

Celebrating the dying art of the UK's regional press, in the form of those headlines splayed across billboards and hoardings which make no sense to the outsider. As a journalist myself I find them fascinating, and as dwindling advertising revenues kill off local press the length of the land I like to preserve them when I see them.

Although set up with my own home island in mind, I'd love to see headlines from all over the world submitted - the wackier the better! Residents' groups, lower leagues football, giant vegetables, these things all have their place. For that reason, the national press don't really have their place in this group unless the story is REALLY provincial. Headlines, posters and adverts also welcome.
