About Rate My: Photo ( Score 5, Post 1 )
To get five ratings on your photo, rate the first five photos in the pool. Use the Official Rating Code immediately below. Consider how the Professional Photographers of America scores photos in competition , and preferably, provide some critique and rational for the score you gave the photo. Give consideration to our [Official] Critique Etiquette Guidelines. Then submit one of your photos. Double check that the five before yours have your rating and critique.

Specific vs Vague. Fluff versus Meaningful Note that words like nice, good, awesome, and problematic, disturbing etc. are general. To be specific is to state WHAT is nice, good, awesome, or bad, etcetera, or WHY it is so. It's even better if you can then suggest any techniques to improve any noted deficiencies.
IF YOU FIND A NON-RATER
Do not rate their photo. Apply this code to their photo:

Do not rate that photo. Skip it and rate one more on the end.
If you get that code on your photo.
Rate per the group requirements immediately. Contact the person who placed the code on your photo, and request a review and to be cleared to remove the code. Removing the code without rating will likely result in banning.

1) Rate and critique the first 5 photos in the pool using the Official Rating Code above.
2) Submit your photo AFTER complying with rule 1.
3) If noticed, do not rate non-raters. Insert the code, but leave the score blank. For a comment, state you do not rate non-raters.
4) If you violate a rule, rate five photos per violation in the Missing Rating Thread MRT. To get a ban removed, rate an additional 15.
5) Members may rate and critique any photos in the pool at any time if they use the official rating code and follow all other rules as applicable.
