Great idea, Maria!! I'll do it!! How do you measure your rings? I have a ring sizer and a mandrel, but the sizing doesn't quite match each other.
What if we split up the people who want to participate and I'll do half and you do half? You'll have my name and I'll have yours? Or something like that?
Maybe this could be our formula ring... 2 birds with one stone?

Fabulous idea! I'm in. It shouldn't matter if the number is even or not if people aren't paired but drawn at random. Meaning if I got Maria, Maria would not necessarily get me she might get Evelyn. When you go down the list drawing names you just need to make sure no-one gets their own name.

Evelyn, If there are many participants, we could split the number but I worry that the danger of making a mistake may increase this way, I don't know!!!
I have a ring sizer for calculating sizes...shouldn't be the same as using the mandrel?
Erin, I think you're right! As long as no one gets their one name, if it does happen, I will draw again.

Sounds good! Maybe there should be a deadline, soon, for participating. Christmas or whatever winter holiday you would like to celebrate is just around the corner!!!

Evelyn, you're right about both....so I changed the deadline for participation, now it's December 2nd. I will be adding this link to the comments section so that more people can see it. I rarely remember to check the discussion forum myself so I worry that many people might miss this.
I will try to send e-mails to as many participants as possible.

Don't worry about sending your rings a bit late. As Kest said, they will be more like graduation presents, which sounds very cool!
Ponsawan, you can post it right now, it doesn't matter and it counts as ring-a-day too. Just add a "ringswap" tag after it is received. The same stands for everyone. I will write a guest post on the Ring-a-Day blog when the rings are received. Adding the tag will be extremely helpful because it will make finding them much easier.

Letting me know when you get your rings would be great! You could also post a photo wearing it. . But even if you don't do any of these, I will try to find them on everyone's streams. Shouldn't be that hard if you mention somewhere that it's the Secret Santa swap ring.

i sent mine and it was recieved :)
and today i recieved one from...?....
i was tentatively opening this mystery box from someone named Jack.
I was a little ascared. So i was on my way to google the address before opening the inside box.
And then I saw on the outside box, DO NOT OPEN UNTIL DEc 24th!
and then the light went off!
i havent and will not open it until then like a good girl :)
i am so tempted to play detective but I wont I promise.
